Raghunatha Das Gosvami's Vrata-nirnaya-panjika is the Vaisnava calendar of choice, widely popular in Vraja. Unfortunately, it is only localized for Vrindavan. The object of the project is automated production of localized calendars with traditional celebrations.

Status
I've been typing in the main events in the calendar and posting them to Vilasa Kunja under the Media Resources section. Beyond that, the project exists as a concept.
I don't really know when I'd have the time to develop this, as the project would involve a great deal of work, and I remain uncertain over the demand. Those who are more tuned in to the day-to-day events of the calendar – tithis, sunrises and so forth – seem to fo the most part have access to the original and be able to work it out for themselves.
